Should we split bills evenly or by income?
Both are fair, they just answer different questions. Evenly is simplest and works when incomes are similar. By income shares the load in proportion to what each person earns, which many share houses and couples prefer for rent and utilities. The calculator does both, so you can compare and decide together.
Does this calculator send anyone money?
No. It works out who owes whom and stops there. CASHO tracks and organises money and never moves it, so you settle up between yourselves however you normally would.
