The month at a glance, for everyone
The dashboard opens on the numbers a household actually argues about: income, spent, saved and subscriptions. The tiles adapt to your household type, so you see the figures that matter to you rather than a generic summary.
- Couples and families lead with income, spent, saved and subscriptions.
- Housemates see your share, plus what you are owed or what you owe.
- Freelancers see a tax set-aside figure and a safe-to-spend number.
The allocation bar is the whole point
One horizontal bar takes every dollar of income and shows where it went: housing, groceries, fun, savings. It’s the signature visual in CASHO, and it answers the question that started all of this. Nobody logs into three accounts and adds it up in their head again.
Are we okay this month?
Above the detail sit the calm-check numbers. A savings-rate ring with goal-aware messaging tells you when you’re ahead of your goal or closing in. A budget pulse shows the percentage of budget used and the categories most at risk. Below that, a category donut and a six-month income-versus-expenses trend show whether this month is normal or not.
Shared means shared
Everyone in the household sees the same data in real time, on any device. Recent activity shows the latest transactions and which member spent, and upcoming renewals flag subscriptions due soon, including the ones nobody has used. Roles decide who can edit and who can only view, so the picture stays shared without becoming a free-for-all.
Nothing arrives on its own, and that is the point
There is no synced feed behind this dashboard. Your household adds what matters, which takes seconds, spreads across everyone, and is the exact moment you notice the spending you would otherwise scroll past. It also means CASHO never holds your bank login.
Shared dashboard, answered.
More in the full FAQ, or email hello@casho.com.au. We are happy to help.
Does the dashboard update for everyone at once?
Yes. Everyone in the household sees the same data in real time on any device, so a transaction added on a phone shows up on the laptop without a refresh dance.
Does CASHO connect to our bank?
No, and that’s on purpose. CASHO has no bank connection. You add transactions yourself, which keeps your banking details private and helps you actually notice your spending.
What if only one of us keeps it up to date?
It still works, and the shared view tends to fix it. Recent activity shows which member added what, so the load becomes visible and easier to share. Roles let you decide who can log and who can just look.
